Woodware Design Team Challenge - Black and white with a pop of blue

This card was made using one of my favourite stamp sets

I like this set as you don't have to do extensive colouring. As a design it needs to be kept simple. The set is all about reindeers and trees.... but you also do get the little bunnies!

For the colouring I have used a the blue from the Sakura Stardust range of pens which I have water coloured. Using a touch of blue at the base of the trees and reindeer anchors them and makes the scene all frosty.

I stamped the moon and some of the trees using a Starlite Black Brilliance inkpad. For the moon you need to apply a thin uneven coating of ink or stamp it off on scrap paper before doing it for real on the card.
