Power of one colour

For this week's blog I have used a stamp from my 'Huge' words collection FRS237 Huge Friend. I worked on watercolour paper, stamping and embossing the word first using white powder. I sprayed the whole image and background then went in with a water brush to smooth out the colour within the letters. I've doodled in the letters using a white glaze pen.

Woodware - On the Farm

Hello Dorothy here for Francoise.

This week Woodware's theme is on the farm here is Francoise's take on it..
Here we have an easel card made with The Garden Tots

He looks as if he is off to plant some carrots doesn't he? Francoise has coloured him with the new Koi Brush pens

The words have been cleverly made to stand up by folding the card into a support. It is a very useful set of words  designed by Francoise Little Messages. I love the little chickens foraging about.

A very cute little taking a trip down on the farm!

Thanks for visiting see you soon!

For my contribution I have used one of Nathalie Kalbach designs. I have created layers of colour using a KaleidaColour ink pad and clear embossing powder. I have sponged and stamped using the ink from the 'Spectrum' ink pad.
I have also used the stencil which comes with the set of stamps both on the tag and the folded card.
Here you can see the resist created by the clear embossing powder. So some areas are very shiny and others are matt.

The flower is made up of 4 flowers held together by a brad. I sponged some clear ink on the flower and dipped it in clear embossing powder. I followed that by sprinkling some Frantage shabby pink embossing powder on the brad and mainly the first flower.
