Late posting again... picked the wrong day in the schedule!
This is one of my new stamps that I have stamped and embossed with silver powder. It's very crisp and clear.

Woodware Design Team Challenge - Wedding Stationery
Another large word stamp to add to my growing collection...
FRS236 Huge Mr and Mrs
The 'Mr' and 'Mrs' are separate stamps as is the '&' so you can mix and match accordingly. There are also small greetings included.
I have paper pieced using the 'Copenhagen' collection of papers.
I made a Silver wedding anniversary card for some friends using this card as a base for my design. I wrote their names into the 'M's to personalize it.

Great for a man's card or just for fun....
FRS129 Fishy Wishes
I have distressed the edges of the panels and paper with black ink for a more masculine look.

Woodware Design Team Challenge - Vintage Hearts and Love
Still recovering from Christmas! Why is it so tiring...
This was quite a difficult challenge for me as I do not often do 'vintage'.
So I've gone for quite a simple layout. I chose the 'Skagen' range of papers that Woodware distribute which has a sheet of vintage images and a muted colour scheme. I punched out three images that I liked using a 3" heart. The edges of the hearts and background panel are sponged to add to the vintage theme.
I used one of the greetings from this set to turn into a vintage Valentine
FRCL171 All Through the Year
The pink 'Elements' and polka dot ribbon pick up on the touches of pink in the images.

Woodware Design Team Challenge - A little bird told me
This challenge was easy as I have a set with the words 'A little bird told me...'
FRCL210 Sitting Pretty
I love making tags as you can use them as toppers for cards. I cut my own shapes but also have some well love Sizzix dies which have been used over and over!
I've used Tombow pens for the colouring, added some Mark Richard Elements and of course... ribbon.

Woodware Design Team Challenge - Tags or Card Toppers
Here are some cute baby tags I made using the following set.
FRCL057 Baby Zone
I've strayed away from Christmas!!! ho ho ho... to a baby theme. Made a nice change.
I coloured in the images using tombow pens and a water brush to achieve a water coloured look.
Very simple and quick but ideal to attach to a gift.

Woodware Design Team Challenge - Sketch
I have strayed from the sketch... slightly... but it's sort of close! Just think outside the box [lol]
Another card using 'Frantage' embossing powders and 'Chippies'.
There is a little bit of stamping on the piece of background paper behind the snowflake using this background stamp
FRS233 We Wish You
I have layered up two snowflake 'Chippies'
Couldn't resist those 'Glitter Domes' again....

Woodware Design Team Challenge - Christmas gift
For this post I have used a set of Stampendous stamps
Time Flies
and some number 'Chippies'
I thought it would make a nice present as you could include a CD of pics taken along the year.
I coloured the 'Chippies' with Rocket Red Gold Brilliance ink and highlighted with a Sakura gold pen.
I have used Mark Richard gold 'Metals' and pale blue 'Candy Bonbon' to bling up the tin.

Woodware Design Team Challenge - Black and White Christmas
As soon as I saw the challenge for this week I knew I wanted to use my 'Noel' stamp. I've been dying to see it in this colour scheme.
FRS219 Huge Noel
As I didn't have any suitable black and white papers I decided to make my own using some of my new background stamps.
I have used the three following stamps;
FRS233 We Wish You
FRS227 Curly Stitched Background
FRS230 Tiny Dots
After cutting out the relevant letters I sponged the edges. This time instead of paper piecing I have raised the letters using foam pads. The ribbon has been heated with a heat gun to make it extra curly.

Woodware Design Team Challenge - Cute Christmas
Out of all the snowmen I have drawn this is probably my all time favourite. The colour scheme I have chosen is probably the cute part of the challenge.... very pastel!
FRS222 Patch Snowman
I have coloured him in using Sakura Soufflé pens. There is no shading so nice and easy... just fill in. This is quite a large stamp but quick to complete as actually there is not a lot of colouring in to do!
I have glittered him in patches using the clear Sakura glaze pen as a glue and ultra fine Stampendous clear glitter.
The tag is made from shrink plastic. I used another one of my new Christmas Stamps... a large wording
FRS124 Most Wonderful Christmas
Of course I have added some fab 'Glitter Domes'... a must have for this years cards!!

Woodware Design Team Challenge - Sketch
For this week's challenge I have gone back to using one of my early Christmas designs. That snowman bauble is so cute...
XXM011 Snowman Bauble
I wasn't sure about the sketch layout when I first saw it but it's actually really useful for using up scraps of paper and card.
On the craft card piece I have used one of my new Christmas background stamps which has a lovely script on it.
FRS233 We Wish You
I have glittered the snowman bauble using a clear glaze Sakura pen and ultra fine clear glitter. It's a very easy way to be precise with your glitter and it's dry in an instant!
The ribbon has been heated to make it extra curly. You use a heat gun to heat it very carefully - no house fires please! It only works with ribbon that have a high nylon content.
Couldn't resist the Mark Richard Glitter Domes.... again and perfect dotted around the bauble.

Woodware Design Team Challenge - Frantage Christmas
This card is influenced by the cards made by a good friend - Jill [The Stamp Man] for the Woodware Christmas catalogue.
I've combined the 'Frantage' embossing powders with bauble 'Chippies'.
The flower centres are from the snowflake 'Chippies' and I have added some Mark Richard glitter domes [they are fab!]
I used the shabby white range of 'Frantage' powders and sprinkled in some shaved ice and crushed glitters from the same range.
For the background to the baubles I have used one of my Christmas background stamps which is great stamped over patterned paper.
FRS233 We Wish You
and another stamp for the stitching over the strip
FRS227 Curly Stitched Background
Finally I have embossed the edges of the background paper with shabby white embossing powder. You simply run a clear pad along the edges and dip the paper in the powder/heat.

Woodware Design Team Challenge - Up-cycling
A rather humble offering from me this week as I am so busy completing the Spring designs...
I have chosen to up cycle a large paperclip into a book mark using a stamped image and punches from the Woodware range.... really cute buttons.
The owl is from this set
FRCL141 Owl Greetings
I have used pencils for the colouring and added glitter and glossy accents for a finishing touch.
The large black heart has been glued to the paperclip using glossy accents. It makes a very good strong glue.
You could attach the paperclip to a card to make a gift.
For other 'up-cycling' projects from the design team visit the Woodware blog.

Woodware Design Team Challenge - Shades of red
One of my favourite stamps from this year's Christmas release.
FRS218 Huge Jingle Bells
I have used different red patterned papers to paper piece the letters.
I used a Woodware green bell punch for the little bells. I have edged them with black ink to make them pop and added sone little bows.
I have glittered the big white spots with ultra fine clear glitter. Very easy to do using a clear Sakura glaze pen as a gluing medium.
I'm last to post this week so why not see what the other team members have come up with on the Woodware Blog for this challenge.

Woodware Design Team Challenge - Vintage Christmas
I'm leading the challenge this week... So I chose to use a Christmas bell for my vintage design. I have also done this bell in modern Christmas colours and it works equally well.
FRS101 Holly Bell
I stamped the bell using an ochre die based inkpad and before adding the other colours I bled out the ink with a water brush. This is what gives it a vintage look.
The greeting comes from this set:
FRCL171 All Through the Year
I used the same water colour technique over the stamped greeting.
I have gone over the outline with some diamond 'Stickles' and add some 3 mm and 5 mm red 'Nailheads' for berries.
Do check in over the coming week to see other ideas for 'Wintage Christmas' over on the Woodware Blog.
